CSS meets on the third Thursday of the month, January thru November for a program meeting or special event.  Activities vary, but could include speakers, workshops taught by members, or open sew on community outreach or other guild projects.  Some of the workshops target beginning quilters and some are geared to those with more experience, however, there is usually someone available to help new quilters along.  There is usually a nominal fee for workshops and speakers.  In addition, CSS brings in outside instructors to teach quilt-making classes during the year.  These all day classes are usually held on weekends.  A fee is charged for these classes.  For more detail on current activity meetings, see Program.

An important component of our guild activities is our work on Community Outreach projects.  Members gather in the morning of the second Tuesday of each month in order to work at finishing quilts and other items, or assembling kits for other members to sew at home.  For more information, see Community Outreach.

At the monthly business meeting on the first Thursday of each month, we discuss other fun activities, which may include: Block Exchanges, Challenges and Field Trips to places of interest to our members.  For more information, see Other Fun Stuff.
